The Story Behind Super Movers

A Moving Company Built Around How Bronx Actually Lives

Super Movers is a family-run moving operation based in Bronx, built around one simple idea — that the day you move should be the easiest part of getting into your new place, not the hardest.

How We Got Here

Nicole Teenman grew up in Bronx and spent her twenties moving in and out of fifth-floor walk-ups, sublets, and brownstone apartments while finishing school and working her way through a logistics job downtown. Every one of those moves taught her something — what good crews do differently, what bad ones get away with, and how much stress a single missed estimate can pile on top of an already complicated day.

When she finally started Super Movers in 2013, the plan was straightforward. Build a crew of trained, vetted movers. Buy the right trucks, the right pads, the right dollies. Quote the real price upfront. Show up on time. Treat every home like it belonged to a neighbor — because in Bronx, odds are it does.

A decade later we have moved thousands of households and offices across Bronx and the surrounding region, and the people running the trucks today are the ones who started on them when we had two box vans and a dispatcher who answered her own phone. The promise has not changed and neither has the standard.

What We Are Here to Do

Make moving in Bronx feel handled — not survived. Show up prepared, quote what we mean, pack with care, and finish on time so customers can spend moving day thinking about their new place instead of what might go wrong with the truck.

How Our Crews Are Trained to Work

Preparation

We walk the building, measure the door frames, and confirm the loading window before the truck leaves the yard. Surprises on moving day are almost always something we could have asked about the week before.

Respect

For your home, your time, your downstairs neighbors, and the doorman who has to sign us in. Every job is somebody's apartment — we work like it.

Clear Communication

A real person answers when you call. You get a written quote, a confirmed arrival window, and a crew lead who walks you through the plan before the first box leaves the floor.

Accountability

If something goes sideways — a delay, a scuff on a wall, a piece that needs a re-wrap — we say so, we own it, and we make it right before you have to ask twice.

Efficiency Without Cutting Corners

Our crews move with purpose because we know your day has a schedule. We do not rush the wrap on a glass tabletop to save five minutes — we plan well enough that we do not have to.

Showing Up

The whole job comes down to this. Crew on time, truck loaded right, address confirmed, customer informed. Everything else is built on top of it.
